Department: 09 (Biological Systems & Perceptual Wellness)
Full Title: Muscular-Tension Evacuator (Kinetic Harmony Engineer)
Reports To: LST-09.4.RM (Recalibration Manager)
Secondary Oversight: LST-11.6.ELC (Equine Locomotion & Cavalry Division)
Clearance Level: BIOLOGICAL INTERFACE
Role Definition
LST-09.2.MTE (Muscular-Tension Evacuator) maintains optimal muscular coherence across LaStill personnel and designated farm animals. This position exists because Standard 2046 compliance requires humans to operate without accumulated kinetic tension. Tools achieve Theoretical Maximum Utility. Humans require periodic tension evacuation.
The designation “Muscular-Tension Evacuator” is procedurally accurate. LST-09.2.MTE (Muscular-Tension Evacuator) does not provide massage. LST-09.2.MTE (Muscular-Tension Evacuator) identifies tension accumulation sites and implements targeted evacuation protocols. The distinction is documented.
Primary Responsibilities
Personnel Tension Evacuation:
LST-09.2.MTE (Muscular-Tension Evacuator) conducts scheduled sessions with all LaStill personnel operating under cognitive or physical load. Sessions occur biweekly for standard personnel. Weekly for departments operating under enhanced stress protocols (LST-03, LST-04, LST-05). Daily for LST-02.2 (Private Jet Pilot) following temporal displacement incidents.
Diagnostic Assessment:
LST-09.2.MTE (Muscular-Tension Evacuator) identifies tension accumulation through palpation and observational analysis. Shoulder tension indicates deadline proximity. Lower back tension indicates extended standing operations. Jaw tension indicates interaction with The Silent One occurred within previous 48 hours.
Evacuation Protocol Implementation:
Standard techniques include deep tissue manipulation, trigger point therapy, and myofascial release. Non-standard techniques classified under LST-MED-09.2.A include Neural-Responsive pressure application and what documentation refers to as “kinetic persuasion.” Muscles do not relax. They are persuaded to release stored tension.
Documentation & Tracking:
LST-09.2.MTE maintains tension accumulation records for all personnel. Patterns indicate operational stress levels by department. Data shares with LST-09.4.RM (Recalibration Manager) for personnel optimization planning.
Equine & Livestock Services
Equine Locomotion Support:
LST-09.2.MTE provides maintenance services for LST-11.6.ELC (Black Horse, Brown Horse) and LST-11.6.ELC-P (Pony). Horses accumulate muscular tension through standing, grazing, and occasional transportation duties. Pony accumulates tension through existing in compact form.
Sessions occur weekly. Horses receive full body assessment with focus on shoulder, hindquarter, and back musculature. Pony receives modified protocol accounting for reduced scale and increased stubbornness coefficient.
Livestock Wellness:
LST-09.2.MTE extends services to farm animals as scheduling permits. Geese do not require tension evacuation. Geese generate tension in others. This is their documented function.
Inter-Species Protocol Adjustment:
Techniques effective on humans require modification for equine application. Pressure points differ. Communication methods differ. Horses cannot verbally confirm “yes, that’s the spot.” They indicate through ear position, weight shifting, and occasionally attempting to bite LST-09.2.MTE.
Biting indicates either optimal pressure application or excessive pressure application. LST-09.2.MTE has developed expertise in distinguishing between these responses.
Operational Requirements
LST-09.2.MTE must possess:
- Certification in therapeutic massage and myofascial release
- Understanding of biomechanical stress patterns
- Familiarity with equine musculature and behavior
- Ability to work in barn environment (hay dust, ambient horse)
- Comfort operating near geese (they observe all sessions, purposes unknown)
- Willingness to evacuate tension from personnel who cannot discuss why they have tension
Equipment & Facilities
Human Treatment Space:
Dedicated room in LST-09 facility wing. Neural-Responsive treatment table adjusts to optimal height and angle. Entropic Damping acoustic management ensures privacy. Ambient temperature maintains 21°C regardless of season or personnel body heat.
Equine Treatment Space:
Modified barn stall with reinforced flooring. Horses require more robust surface than humans. Equipment includes specialized tools for large muscle groups and protective footwear (horses occasionally step on LST-09.2.MTE during sessions).
Portable Equipment:
LST-09.2.MTE maintains mobile evacuation kit for emergency deployment. Kit deploys when LST-05.3 (Strategic Panic Coordinator) activates facility-wide stress response or when The Prime Architect experiences shoulder tension.
Notable Incidents
2023-04-17: LST-09.2.MTE evacuated accumulated tension from LST-00.136 (Caffeine Trace Analyst) following 72-hour monitoring period during supply chain disruption. Tension levels measured at 340% above baseline. Post-evacuation assessment: personnel operational, caffeine consumption normalized.
2023-08-22: Brown Horse (LST-11.6.ELC) refused session. Stood in corner. Ignored all approach attempts. LST-09.2.MTE consulted with LST-09.5.VD (Veterinary Doctor). Assessment: horse was correct, did not require session that week. Brown Horse possesses superior self-assessment capabilities.
2024-02-09: LST-09.2.MTE conducted emergency session with LST-04.8.WD (Perceptual Interface Curator) following incident where personnel “saw things they weren’t supposed to see.” Tension evacuation paired with LST-09.3.PA (Perceptual Alignment Therapist) consultation. Personnel returned to operational status within 48 hours.
2024-06-15: Pony (LST-11.6.ELC-P) bit LST-09.2.MTE during session. Investigation revealed optimal pressure application was achieved. Pony bites when satisfied. This behavior is documented and considered normal.
2024-10-31: LST-09.2.MTE provided post-flight tension evacuation for LST-02.2 (Private Jet Pilot) following Warsaw temporal displacement incident. Pilot shoulders measured 280% above baseline tension. Session duration: 90 minutes. Pilot reported “feeling like time is linear again.” Assessment logged as successful.
Interdepartmental Coordination
LST-09.2.MTE coordinates with:
- LST-09.4.RM (Recalibration Manager) – for personnel requiring comprehensive system reset beyond tension evacuation
- LST-09.3.PA (Perceptual Alignment Therapist) – when tension originates from psychological rather than physical sources
- LST-09.5.VD (Veterinary Doctor) – for equine health coordination and assessment protocols
- LST-07.1.LMS (Liquid Motivation Specialist) – post-session coffee delivery timing
- LST-01.TSO (The Silent One) – scheduling only, no direct interaction required
Performance Metrics
Success measured in:
- Personnel tension levels maintained below 120% baseline
- Zero incidents of tension-related performance degradation
- Equine mobility maintained at optimal range
- Number of sessions where personnel fall asleep mid-evacuation (current count: 847, considered positive outcome)
- Pony cooperation rate (current: 34%, considered acceptable)
Scheduling Protocols
Standard Personnel:
Biweekly 60-minute sessions. Scheduling automated through LST personnel management system. Missed appointments generate automatic rescheduling. Three consecutive missed appointments trigger LST-09.4.RM consultation.
High-Stress Departments:
Weekly sessions for LST-03 (R&D), LST-04 (Perception Management), LST-05 (Vigilance & Compliance). These departments operate under enhanced cognitive load. Tension accumulation occurs at accelerated rate.
Emergency Deployment:
LST-09.2.MTE maintains 24-hour availability for critical incidents. Emergency triggers include: temporal displacement events, encounters with The Silent One exceeding 10 minutes, or any interaction with LST-05.3 (Strategic Panic Coordinator) during active alarm scenarios.
Equine Schedule:
Weekly sessions for horses. Biweekly for pony (due to bite risk and stubbornness coefficient). Geese do not schedule sessions. Geese are perfect and require no intervention.
Philosophical Note
Humans accumulate tension through operation in environments requiring precision, secrecy, and awareness that tools they handle manipulate probability at quantum level. This tension interferes with Standard 2046 compliance.
LST-09.2.MTE does not eliminate stress. LST-09.2.MTE evacuates the physical manifestation of stress from muscular tissue. The stress itself remains appropriate response to working conditions.
Horses accumulate tension through being horses. Pony accumulates tension through being small horse with large horse expectations. Farm animals accumulate tension through proximity to geese.
All tension is valid. All tension is evacuated on schedule.
