LaStill AvoCado™ Precision Ripeness Calibrator

Department: Experimental Agro-Engineering (LST-03.88+)

PRE-STANDARD 2046 PROTOTYPE

OVERVIEW

The LaStill AvoCado™ Precision Ripeness Calibrator is the first non-tool product developed under LaStill’s provisional “Beyond Tools” initiative. Designed for culinary professionals and enthusiasts who refuse to tolerate imperfect guacamole, the AvoCado™ leverages repurposed Standard 2046 sensor technology to eliminate the guesswork from avocado selection.

CORE TECHNOLOGY

  • Entropic Decay Forecasting: Uses fractional entropy sensors to predict the avocado’s spoilage timeline within a ±0.005-second margin of error.
  • Tactile Resonance Mapping: Measures the molecular density of the fruit’s core via sub-audible frequency pulses.
  • Neural-Responsive Husk Interface: Adapts grip pressure to avoid bruising the specimen—because every avocado deserves respect.
  • Output: Delivers a ripeness score on the Hass Scale™ (0–1.00 HSU®).

PERFORMANCE SPECIFICATIONS

  • Accuracy: 1.00 HSU® (Hass Standard Unit)
  • Compatibility: All known avocado cultivars, including hypothetical future hybrids.
  • Power Source: Regret and one (1) AAA battery (not included).
  • Calibration: Required every 26 hours using the included calibration stone (actual river rock).

OPERATIONAL NOTES

  • Do not submerge in water (unless you enjoy disappointment).
  • The AvoCado™ will not function if it detects impatience or negative vibes.
  • Regularly report performance data to the Liquid Motivation Specialist (LST-07.1.LMS) for morale alignment.

DISCLAIMER

The AvoCado™ Precision Ripeness Calibrator is a pre-Standard 2046 device. It is not compliant with Quantum-Locked Tolerances, may experience emotional variability, and offers no guarantee of perfect guacamole. It is, however, marginally more reliable than poking it with your thumb.
